A July 2018 wedding breakfast at the Parish Hall showed it off at its best. The wedding party made the most of the beautiful weather and escaped into the car park, using it as an outdoor seating area overlooking the wonderful rural scenery. The couple certainly made the best use of the space available both inside and outside the hall.
The Committee wish the happy couple all the best, and thank them for choosing our hall for, what is, the first wedding breakfast since its refurbishment.

On Saturday 16th December 2017 the Parish Hall Committee held the 200 Club Christmas draw (for a prize of £1,000) in the Parish Hall. It was, as much as anything, a celebration of the marvellous achievements of the last year or so that saw the hall transformed into a 21st century facility. People enjoyed a lovely evening of entertainment from End of the Track, who so generously give their time to charitable causes. It was great fun and both young and old joined in the clapping and singing to familiar songs and carols.
The audience were delighting in joining End of the Track in singing many familiar songs and carols.
Singers from End of the Track very happily hanging on to the prize winning cheque. No! they didn't win!
Friday 29th September 2017 saw the village hall turned into a skittle alley for the evening. Even if you didn't play it was great to catch up with people, talk to folk we'd seen around but not spoken to before, have a glass or two to drink and a bite to eat. And some of us even got to wash up!
Now, let's see how many balls roll straight through without touching a skittle. I can do it, so it must be easy!
It was a competition after all, a prize at stake (plus a glorious yellow sash) and skittles IS more than just a game!
or is it a roll?
