Booking

We ask you to agree to the following terms and conditions when hiring the Parish Hall.

On submitting the Booking Form, you agree to the Terms and Conditions as detailed in the T&Cs document.

Main Conditions of Hire

• Minimum hire period is two hours

• To secure your booking, a fee of £75 is payable, including a £25 deposit (which is non-refundable upon hirer cancellation) and £50 reserved for damages or professional cleaning, if needed.

• Once the booking fee is paid, we'll assume you've read, understood, and accepted the Terms & Conditions.

• After your event, please ensure the hall is left clean and tidy within the hire period.

• Please ensure the keys remain with the person named on the booking form

• Live music can be played in the hall between 08:00 and 23:00 to audiences of fewer than 100. For music outside those hours the committee must be advised and consent to acquire a Temporary Events Notice (TENs) be obtained - the cost of the TENs is paid by the Hirer

• If you intend to make profit from, or sell tickets for events with alcohol included in the ticket price, you will need to arrange your own Public Liability Insurance, in addition to acquiring a TENs licence

• Supervised events for children under the age of 8 must comply with the Children Act 1989 and persons supporting the event, having contact with children, should have appropriate Disclosure and Barring Service checks

• No animals except guide dogs and assistance animals are allowed on the premises.​ If you wish to arrange an animal event in the hall, this should be agreed with the committee in advance.

• Daytime bookings are between 9 a.m and 6pm

•  Evening bookings are between 6 p.m and 11 p.m (For bookings outside of these hours, please contact the Bookings Secretary.)
